1. Acceptance of these terms and conditions.

When you access the Site and / or use our Services, you hereby declare and warrant that:

(a) You have read, understand and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions;

(b) Is a natural person of at least 18 years of age or a duly organized and validly existing company, organization or other legal entity that complies with the laws of the country in which it is established;

(c) You can enter into legally binding contracts; Y

(d) Tours of Galicia does not prohibit you from accessing and / or using the Site.

If you do not agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you may not access and / or use the Site and / or our Services and must leave the Site immediately.

These Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with the Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy as they are incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions.

2. Scope of Tours of Galicia services.

We operate the Site, which is an online marketplace platform that allows Guides to upload and post their Tours, and You to search and book Tours, post reviews, and process payments.

You can search for tours and guides using a variety of filters. Once you decide on a specific Tour, you can connect and contract directly with the Guides and through the Site.

We constantly update our Site and its functionalities. Therefore, we may modify and / or remove any functionality on the Site and / or introduce new ones from time to time.

We operate the Site, which is an online marketplace platform that allows Guides to upload and post their Tours, and You to search and book Tours, post reviews, and process payments.

You can search for tours and guides using a variety of filters. Once you decide on a specific Tour, you can connect and contract directly with the Guides and through the Site.

We constantly update our Site and its functionalities. Therefore, we may modify and / or remove any functionality on the Site and / or introduce new ones from time to time.

3. Reserve.

The Site lists many Tours uploaded by different Guides, each Tour contains a description of the features and elements included, such as the description and the itinerary (“Tour Terms”). You can send a message to the Guide with any questions about a specific Tour or to request a personalised Tour. You can also choose to make a reservation request to a Guide for a particular Tour by clicking the “Book Now” button or any other button that can be modified. All Tours are invitations for you to make an offer to a Guide, except for last-minute bookings (“Instant Bookings”), which can be automatically booked without acceptance from a Guide. Once the guide accepts and confirms your reservation request, there is a binding contract between you and the guide. Guides are free to accept or decline your reservation requests.

You should review the Tour Terms before making a reservation request to a Guide. Once the Guide accepts your reservation request, it will be subject to the Tour Terms. These Terms and Conditions will prevail over the Tour Terms with respect to your relationship with Tours of Galicia.

You understand and agree that due to ongoing disruptions related to the Covid-19 pandemic, Tours itineraries may be subject to changes that are beyond the control of the Guide. You agree that only changes that substantially affect the Tour itinerary will entitle you to cancel said Tour at no cost.

4. Payment.

• Non-Refundable Deposit: A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. This deposit is strictly non-refundable if the customer cancels or fails to show.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance of the total tour price must be paid in full on the day of the tour before the commencement of services.

All Guides set their own Tour prices, which fully compensate Guides for their services. Guides may change Tour prices without prior notice until a reservation has been made. Tour prices include all taxes.

It will ensure that every payment to the Guides is processed through the Site or any other means Tours of Galicia may determine.

You will pay for reservations by credit card or another form of payment available through the Site. We do not store credit card information. Tours of Galicia uses a third-party service to process your payment information for all transactions made through Tours of Galicia. You authorise Tours of Galicia and its payment service partners to process your payments. These payment processing services are governed by the terms and conditions of those third-party services and will apply to payments you make through their system.

Each Tour is displayed in its default currency. Your bank or credit card company may charge different fees when you select a currency other than your local currency.

5 Cancellation policy.

• Non-Refundable Deposit: A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. This deposit is strictly non-refundable if the customer cancels or fails to show.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance of the total tour price must be paid in full on the day of the tour before the commencement of services.

• Company Cancellation: If we (the operator) must cancel the tour for any reason—such as equipment failure, guide illness, or insufficient numbers—and cannot provide a suitable alternative, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.

• Definition: “Force Majeure” refers to extraordinary events beyond the control of either party (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions) that make the tour impossible or unsafe.
• Credit Option: In the event of a Force Majeure cancellation, the deposit is converted into a Future Travel Credit valid for one (1) year from the original tour date.
• Transferability: This credit is fully transferable. You may pass it to another person, provided you notify us in writing before they book.

• Forfeiture: If you cancel for personal reasons not covered by Force Majeure, the deposit is forfeited.
